Two H2020 projects close to PLANET, SHAR-Q and Storage4Grid are celebrating the project achievements in their co-organized closing event on October 24th in Brussels where the main results and achievements from both projects will be shared with all the attendees - registration to the event is open!
Speaking at MAGNITUDE Workshop "How can sector coupling enable flexibility provision? Technical and market integration challenges"
PLANET will be represented by our Coordinator POLITO at H2020 sister project MAGNITUDE’s workshop, and speaking at session “Modelling and Simulation of Multi-Energy System for flexibility quantification”.
The Horizon 2020 Energy modelling group, consisting of nine Horizon 2020 projects funded by the European Commission’s Research and Innovation Programme, is pleased to invite you to the third Conference of the Energy Modelling Platform for Europe (EMP-E) 2019, hosted by the European Commission DG Research & Innovation in Brussels on October 8th and 9th.
Smart Grid Flexibility - Achieving energy system flexibility through effective DER integration & operation
Heidi Saastamoinen from our technical partner VTT presenting at the Smart Grid Flexibility 2019 - Achieving energy system flexibility through effective DER integration & operation. The event is taking place in London, UK on 1-3 October 2019.
Invitation to Regulatory Aspects Workshop: Which regulation to foster innovation and EU energy network integration
The EU energy sector is undergoing radical changes posing a challenge to regulators, requiring them to find appropriate measures to incentivize innovation and to develop new regulatory schemes required by a changing environment. Join the co-organised workshop by H2020 projects PLANET and MAGNITUDE, and DHC+ Technology Platform of Euroheat & Power in Brussels on 14 March 2019 for free of charge.

Technical partner VTT presents a poster titled End-user Economics In Heating Sector Decarbonization using Renewable Gas And Power-to-Heat - Optimized SNG and Heat Pump Utilization.
The poster focuses on one of the developed PLANET use-cases from a techno-economical point of view, discussing the profitability of the use-case for the End Customer i.e. building owner or operator, and how much GHG-emission reductions can be reached.
